Pet Tracker Microchipping

Under Dubai Municipality mandate, all cats and dogs owned in Dubai must be microchipped for identification. The Veterinary Hospital only uses ISO compatible pet ID microchips. Our pet tracker microchips are internationally accepted so your pet may travel overseas (subject to any other specific import requirements).

Microchipping involves the insertion of a transponder device surrounded by an inert casing about the size of a grain of rice. The implantation is simply done by injection under the skin between the shoulders.

Once implanted, the microchip will provide a scanner with a unique number identifying your pet.
